Design Center | Ravenna Homes | New Construction Homes | Houston Texas

Hi friends. If you are interested in buying a brand-new construction home, then this video is perfect for you.

Today, I’ll be discussing the steps and how to buy a brand-new construction. The first step is to reach out to your Realtor, to discuss your goals and your plans to nail down also specific neighborhood and specific builder that you’re interested in.

Then from there, once you discuss with him or her, then the next step is to go to a specific community together with your Realtor to find the plan that you’re interested in.  It might be a plan that say a four-bedroom or a five-bedroom home, two-story or one-story floor plans. Then from there, you’ll have to discuss with the sales counselor or the builder, the price point and what you’re uncomfortable paying. After, which if you have decided those, the, the, the model plan, if you have decided the specific model plan, then the next step is to sign a contract with a builder.

And usually what they ask is for an earnest money deposit in order to lock your price. At the same time, they will schedule a design schedule with you.

I mean, design center, either the design center would be within the model home or in a sales counselor will help you with your designs or upgrades and fixtures, or they can also schedule you an appointment with a design consultant.

Like right now, we’re here in the design center, in the greater Houston area, and it includes all builders within one big design center building.  It may be J. Patrick homes, Shea homes, Gehan homes, Ravenna homes, Empire communities, Toll brothers, Perry homes. So, let’s check it out what is inside and how to choose your design pieces. Just make sure when you’re inside the design center, whether you have your Realtor or not to stick with your budget, because bottom line, you still have to pay for all of these upgrades.  And sometimes with all the things that you’re seeing, you want to upgrade everything. Okay, so make sure to just stick with your budget.
