Wouldn’t it be fun to spend the weekend on a water adventure at Lake Conroe, a twenty-two hundred-acre lake with a hundred fifty-seven miles of shoreline? Wouldn’t it be soothing to connect with nature at W. Goodrich Jones State Forest and Sam Houston National Forest? Or if you don’t feel like driving, wouldn’t it be nice to spend the day in a park just across your neighborhood?

Now, before I proceed, just a quick disclaimer: I am not associated with Long Lake Ltd or any of the builders within Barton Creek Ranch. All information provided in this video is a courtesy and it is deemed reliable at the time of recording.

Long Lake Ltd is one of the few locally owned home builders in the Greater Houston area known for providing high-quality new-home construction properties at affordable prices. They currently have more than thirty communities across the Houston Metro area.

One of these communities, called Barton Creek Ranch, can be found in Conroe, Texas. This serene two-hundred-acre neighborhood is just forty miles north of downtown Houston. It features two of Long Lake Ltd’s product lines: Lakewood Ridge Builders and Briarwood Homes.

The Lake Ridge home series offers thirteen beautifully designed home plans ranging from fourteen hundred sixteen square feet to thirty-one hundred twenty-nine square feet. With prices ranging from the mid-two hundreds to the higher four hundreds. This home series boasts high ceilings without the high energy cost.

Briarwood Homes on the other hand offers thirteen carefully crafted home plans designed with a higher-end look and feel ranging from twenty hundred and seventy-six square feet to forty hundred thirty-five square feet. Price ranges from the three hundreds to the four hundreds.

Both series come with full sod, a forty-two-inch kitchen cabinet, a level one granite countertop, an under-mount stainless steel sink, a separate tub and shower in the primary bedroom, a walk-in closet, a linen closet, a tankless water heater, and a lot more.

Barton Creek Ranch’s HOA is six hundred fifty dollars per year while their tax rate is two dollars and eight four seven nine per hundred dollars of valuation before homestead exemption. However, like I always said in all of my videos, it is best to check with Montgomery’s tax authorities.

This subdivision may not have its own fancy amenities, but do not worry! Carl Barton Jr. Park, the largest park facility in the city of Conroe with two hundred acres of land area, is just across the neighborhood. It has nine baseball fields, four softball fields, nine soccer fields, and six to ten miles of walking, jogging, and biking trail. This awesome park is not only known for its sports facilities but it has also become a popular family outing destination. Kids can play and have fun in the children’s playground while parents wait at the large pavilion by the pond with a beautiful view of the fountain.

Barton Creek Ranch is zoned to one of the highest-rated school districts in Texas – Conroe ISD. Pre-kindergarten pupils to fourth graders may go to Runyan Elementary School along Foster Drive. While fifth-graders to sixth graders may attend Bozman Intermediate school along Beach Airport Road. Seventh to eighth-graders, on the other hand, may go to Washington Junior High along Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. Ninth to twelfth graders may attend Conroe High School along West Davis Street.

Running errands would not be a problem as it is conveniently located near grocery stores like Kroger Marketplace, Timewise Food Store, and Spin Food Market to name a few.

You do not feel like cooking? No worries! IHOP is just nine minutes away to take care of your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Craving for personalized pizza with your choice of toppings? MOD Pizza is also just nine minutes away. Want to satisfy your Asian appetite? No problem! Wasabi Bistro is just a three-mile drive. There are plenty of options nearby.

Shopping is a breeze with Marcel Boulevard and 336 Marketplace nearby. Alternatively, you can visit The Woodlands Mall, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Square, and Woodlands Waterway for a wide range of retail, dining, and entertainment options.

Barton Creek Ranch is also conveniently located near I-45, Highway 105, Hardy Toll Road, Route 59, and Interstate-69 making it quite easy to reach Exxon Mobil Campus, Anadarko Petroleum, and Baker Hughes facilities.

Indeed, this community is perfect for homebuyers with an active lifestyle who are looking for a relaxed, no-frills environment. It offers a relaxed fun outdoor recreation activities.
